MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jonathan leads Archer International and has more than 19 years’ experience managing complex security operations across Africa and other high-risk environments. A former British Army Captain, he provides strategic leadership, operational oversight and client engagement, drawing on extensive experience supporting the UN, diplomatic missions, international organisations and multinational companies.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Taban leads Archer’s operational delivery across South Sudan, bringing more than 17 years’ security experience across East Africa. His background includes senior roles with international security organisations and extensive experience in remote deployments, risk assessments, SOP development, journey management, crisis response and coordination with NGOs and international organisations.

HEAD OF TRAINING

Quentin leads Archer’s training function and has more than 20 years’ experience delivering security training and operational management across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan. An internationally accredited instructor, he oversees course development, quality assurance and delivery, including hostile-environment, first-aid and security programmes for humanitarian, diplomatic and commercial clients.

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Camilla has been part of Archer International since its establishment, helping build and develop the company’s commercial operations in South Sudan. She oversees commercial strategy, contracts and client engagement across humanitarian, diplomatic and private-sector clients. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Conflict and Security at the University of St Andrews.

HEAD OF HR & DEVELOPMENT

Juma leads Archer’s human-resources function, bringing more than 12 years’ experience in South Sudan. He oversees recruitment, contracts, payroll, disciplinary processes and labour-law compliance across Archer’s national workforce, while supporting staff welfare, grievance management, gender inclusion and safeguarding across the company’s operations.

DIRECTOR OF SUSTAINABILITY

John leads Archer’s quality, compliance and sustainability functions, bringing more than 30 years’ experience across Africa’s security and risk-management sectors. He oversees Archer’s ISO-certified management systems, ICoCA compliance, internal assurance and continuous improvement, helping ensure operations remain aligned with international standards, human rights principles and client requirements.

HEAD OF TECHNICAL SECURITY

Wafula leads Archer’s technical services, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in security systems and electrical engineering. He oversees the design, installation and maintenance of CCTV, access control, alarm and surveillance systems, supporting clients across South Sudan and the region, including UN agencies, international organisations and commercial facilities.

HEAD OF RISK & INFORMATION

Michael leads Archer’s risk and intelligence function, bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in African security and risk management. He holds a doctorate and specialises in ISO management systems, corporate governance and ethical security operations, overseeing Archer’s risk analysis, intelligence, assurance and compliance with international standards.

HEAD OF LOGISTICS

Taban manages Archer’s logistics and operational support across South Sudan, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in complex and remote environments. He coordinates fleet, movements, mobilisation and field logistics, supporting teams and client operations nationwide. His extensive field experience provides strong practical knowledge of South Sudan’s operating environment and logistical challenges.

HEAD OF FINANCE

Analiza leads Archer’s financial management, invoicing, collections and contract financial oversight. She brings more than 30 years’ finance experience across public and private sectors, including extensive work in South Sudan. Her expertise includes Sage, QuickBooks, audit preparation, proposal development, financial controls and management of complex client accounts.

ADMIN & OPS SUPPORT

Topista supports Archer’s administration, personnel coordination and staff welfare across South Sudan. She also supports the company’s QA/QC programme and internal audit processes, helping maintain operational standards and compliance. Recognised for her commitment and leadership, Topista received Archer’s “Behind the Scenes Champion” award in May 2025.

HEAD OF FIELD OPERATIONS

Gideon is an experienced security professional with more than 10 years’ experience managing commercial and humanitarian security operations across South Sudan. He manages Archer’s client operations and personnel in Juba, drawing on previous experience supporting international organisations including Relief Services (CRS), JICA and the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA).

OPERATIONS & SECURITY MANAGER

Jame is responsible for the security and guarding operations of Archer’s clients across Juba, including supervision of guard teams and alarm response. As one of Archer’s Security Managers, he also supports visiting clients with VIP airport services, secure movements and in-country assistance, providing coordination and support throughout their time in South Sudan

SUPPORT MANAGER

Seif is a skilled professional with more than 10 years’ experience supporting business operations and organisational delivery. At Archer, he works across process management, commercial operations, finance, IT and procurement, helping ensure effective systems and coordination across the company. His broad expertise provides essential support to both operational and management teams.

VETTING & DISCIPLINE OFFICER

Thomas oversees staff vetting and disciplinary processes across Archer’s operations, supporting the integrity and professional standards of the company’s security workforce. He also serves as one of Archer’s VIP Security Officers, supporting visiting clients with airport movements, close security coordination and in-country assistance throughout their time in South Sudan.
